Cassette Boy
Cassette
Boy is a video maker who cuts up political debates, news and other videos and
turns the footage into a spoof of the source material, such as turning a Brexit
debate into a parody of ‘The Fresh Prince of Bel Air’ opening song.
These
videos are similar to how I have created the dialogue between my characters in
my video by sentence mixing the original dialogue and turning it into something
different.
Cassette
Boy has also done videos for ‘The Guardian’ parodying the news and turning the
headlines into something completely different, for example “Jeremy Corbyn caught
on camera crying and hiding in car boots”. For the dialogue in my video I tried
to capture the same sought of humour found in the videos.
